Green Bay Media Joins Forces With Wildflame

23rd March 2018

Green Bay Media is delighted to announce that it's to merge with Wildflame Productions as part of a major strategy for growth within the Flame Media Group.

Since 2001, Green Bay has produced more than 200 hours of blue-chip documentaries for viewers across the UK and around the world, working with leading international television channels and some of the most high-profile names in broadcasting. It has won awards, big audiences and critical acclaim.

Now, Green Bay brings that world-class track-record to an ambitious new alliance being set up under the banner of Wildflame and the leadership of its CEO Paul Islwyn Thomas.

Green Bay's co-founder and Creative Director, John Geraint said "We're thrilled to be joining forces with a company which shares our vision and values. Together, we'll be able to bring many more Welsh stories to world screens. So, all of us here at Green Bay are eagerly looking forward to playing a full part in this new creative powerhouse of quality independent production."

Wildflame will benefit from Green Bay's extensive slate of emerging programme ideas - the latest of which is an access-based documentary series which has just won substantial development funding from BBC Network Television.

All of Green Bay's staff will be joining Wildflame. John Geraint will take a seat on Wildflame's Editorial Board as Creative Consultant and Executive Producer, and will continue to play a key role in developing and delivering high-profile projects for the domestic and global television markets.

Green Bay was advised on legal aspects of the merger by Hugh James Solicitors.
