Corporate Development Expert joins Green Bay

Ms Coffey has recently headed senior leadership development and culture change projects at Unilever plc, Xerox Europe, Deutsche Bank, the BBC, BT and with UK Cabinet Ministers. Other blue-chip clients of hers have included British Airways, Goldman Sachs, Capital One, Prudential and Ford of Europe.

Her role as Non-Executive Director at Green Bay will be to boost the company's development push for growth and for more network television commissions in drama, documentary and the arts. Green Bay's recent hits include the BBC history series Bread of Heaven and The Story of Welsh, both presented by Huw Edwards. In November, Finance Wales made a significant venture capital investment in Green Bay, taking a minority equity stake.

Anticipating the challenges facing Green Bay, Elizabeth Coffey said "The Executive Directors of Green Bay have demonstrated amply the quality of their creative work through a string of successes. The recent injection of funds from Finance Wales puts Green Bay's leaders in a strong position to grow the company during its next exciting chapter. I am delighted to join the Board!"

Ms Coffey heads the UK Leadership Capabilities practice of Mercer Delta Consulting. American-born and educated at Wellesley College, she's been based in the UK for the last two decades. In 2001, she won a European Woman of Achievement Award for her work in gender issues, diversity and organisational culture. Her latest book on leadership is 10 Things That Keep CEOs Awake At Night - and How To Put Them To Bed. In demand around the globe, Elizabeth Coffey has been invited to lecture in the USA, France, Germany, Spain, Egypt, Japan, China, South Africa, Singapore, the Philippines and India .

Green Bay's Creative Director Phil George said "It's a huge boost for Green Bay to have an outstanding business mind like Elizabeth Coffey's joining our team.
