John, as Head of Production at BBC Wales, led 430 programme-makers, making 1,700 hours of tv p.a. He doubled network output to a record £17million with hits like family drama Magician's House, the Oscar-nominated Canterbury Tales and the global adventure series Extreme Lives. Winner of a Royal Television Society award for an outstanding contribution to television, John's credits as Executive Producer include the cinema film The Miracle Maker. In 2001, he returned to hands-on directing with Green Bay's first production Do Not Go Gentle.

Phil, as Head of Arts, Music and Features, led the BBC's centre of excellence in classical music. He developed a landscape franchise with hit series Visions of Snowdonia and This Land. Phil made his reputation for producing intelligent television about major world issues with Michael Ignatieff's Blood and Belonging, an international co-production on resurgent nationalism. In the past two years, as well as executive producing series and singles for Green Bay, Phil has presented 50 half-hour Value Judgement interviews for BBC radio.

Amanda Rees - Producer/Director

Amanda Rees is a freelance Producer/ Director with a proven track record in co-production for the international market. Her credits encompass a wide variety of genres, including historical and observational documentary, drama documentary and BAFTA WALES' Best Youth Series of 2002.

Amanda made her international directorial debut in 1997 with Saints and Sinners, a series of six one hour documentaries on the history of the Papacy. A co-production with S4C, RTE, France 5 and A&E, the series was broadcast internationally in twenty countries. On subsequent projects, Amanda has worked directly with a host of international broadcasters including SBS Australia, Discovery Health, Alliance Atlantis and the History Channel US. Her productions have also sold to broadcasters worldwide.

Recent projects include POW's of the American Revolution for The History Channel US, Mountains and Man for S4C International / France 5 and War Surgeons for S4C / Alliance Altantis / France 5.
